One of Madison's best-known street musicians, piccolist extraordinaire Tom Ryan, the "Orange Guy" of the UW Library Mall and the Dane County Farmers' Market. He also plays with the jazz quartet Piccolissimo. (Note his diminutive banker on the right).

While we're on the subject of Ryans, we will note that the Packers fell 27-24 to Matt Ryan and the lowly Falcons at Lambeau, inspiring the crowd to chant for Brett. The Packers have now equaled their loss total for all of '07, and they did it in a game for which they had doubtless already circled the W. We didn't need a rookie QB to lose; a hobbled Aaron Rodgers was enough.
